My purpose is to shed light and bring a telling of truth to people and places, in effort that their stories can be more wholly listened to and observed. 

I have been a writer and a seer from the time I could put pen to paper. The power of telling a story, whether it be through poetry, prose, documentary writing or photograph, has always been at the center of my life and my creative work. When I was abroad in Tibet, Nepal, and India, every moment and image held a story. As a writer and photographer, I share in a community of global storytellers who listen and hold a light for the voices of humanity. May we pass the light to one another so that we may learn to peacefully share and love our beautiful and increasingly complex world.
